Please do not use any web searches for this part of the exercise, unless you have something very specific in mind you’d like us to see. Instead, use what you’ve written down on your worksheets. Simply write about the rocks you listed using complete sentences to describe to us their age, the formation name (if available), what types of rocks they are, and how they are in contact with each other, like a geologic history,( i.e., “this rock is the oldest……”). Mention how the geology controls the topography and anything you found that was interesting or unexpected. Describe any structures in your area, such as faults, folds, tilted layers, or rock cleavage. If you have resources in your area, like copper mines or rock quarries, mention them too. All this should easily fill up an entire page without having to look anything up on the Internet.
