This may mean a reevaluation of your research, thesis, claims and evidences with approximately 90% completed. This week, you will write the complete draft of your Academic Report. 2. Write in third person only and include MLA (or APA) documentation, in text citations and matching documentation page. A paper without the attempt for full documentation will not be graded; a timely resubmission must follow for a passing grade on this assignment. 3. Length: at least 4-5 pages of text (Title page and documentation page are separate from this count) 4. Purpose: As the academic writer, you should not reveal your position on the argument; rather, the third person should present various arguments and valid points that are carefully documented with clear evidences. 5. The Academic Report requires objective writing and a professional tone. The Academic Report is analytical, but not argumentative. Be careful of biases, even subtle ones. 6. The paper should be a multi-paragraph essay with a clearly developed introduction. The introduction should have a thesis, or controlling idea, of what the paper is about and the direction the paper will take. The introductio​‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍​n should be a paragraph or paragraphs. Provide pertinent background information about your subject for the reader’s benefit. 7. The supportive paragraphs should introduce the various viewpoints about the subject. Take one viewpoint per paragraph and develop each discussion fully, integrating cited information. 8. Cited work should not exceed 15-20% of the entire paper. It is the Third Person voice of the writer that should lead the Academic Report, informing and analyzing a research subject from various viewpoints. When your fellow writers and your instructor read your draft, we should be able to distinguish your third person words and thoughts from the cited published sources. Thus, you must document so that you do not confuse readers, or plagiarize. You must document to demonstrate valid research. You must analyze as well as report to establish yourself as a credible college writer. 9. The concluding paragraph or paragraphs should be at least a page in which conclusions are made and insights are given to readers without purposely swaying opinion or stance on the arguable subject. 10. The paper should be presented as logical and comprehensive with appropriate transitions that is college-level, suitable for the subject you are discussing and understandable to readers. Remember the research topic is the same as the one you have been developing for past weeks; this same research subject will lead to the Week 11 Major Argumentation Essay. The difference is that you, as the academic writers, show you have considered multiple viewpoints related to your research subjects that you will present as objectively as possible in a documented academic repo​‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍​rt.
