DISCUSSION 1 (Latasha) According to my personal introspection and interactions with various leaders, the way individuals perceive and understand “human nature” can greatly influence the development of their leadership style. The way a leader conducts themselves and interacts with their employees or followers can clearly demonstrate their attitude towards human nature. An individual with an optimistic perspective on human nature is more likely to employ collaborative approaches to achieve positive results and feedback in their work. People who support a leader often develop positive sentiments regarding human nature or the leader themselves. Individuals who possess a positive attitude exhibit trustworthy behavior, fostering trust, collaboration, and a sense of purpose in their work that benefits everyone involved. Conversely, the adverse characteristic of an individual who is adversely affected by human nature or holds a negative view of human nature is their inclination towards laziness and lack of trustworthiness, prioritizing their own interests over others. Their behavior is excessively controlling.

The attitude and assumptions about “human nature” does change a person’s approach to their leadership approach or style. The attitude about oneself can change this approach since self- insight is a significant piece of how leaders conduct themselves. On the off chance that one sees oneself as having the mentality of a leader who thinks democratically, the individual might pick that initiative methodology. Be that as it may, if an individual sees oneself as having controlled and directing abilities or disposition, the person could pick a different leadership style. An individual’s assumptions and attitude about human nature influence their approach as a leader. The purpose of this is that assuming the attitude about human nature is that they need in every case close oversight and discipline then autocratic leadership is picked. Assuming that the mentality of an individual about human nature is that people are self-motivated, then just a leadership style that reflects democracy is chosen by the individual.

DISCUSSION 3 (Michelle)
If the person has a bad attitude and makes too many assumptions then this will make him/her a bad leader, he/she would not be a leader at all. A leader is willing to teach his/her team member to go the extra mile, to always be available and to be the first one to volunteer on an activity. Leaders are followed not fear. A true leader will not tell you to do things he/she will teach you first how to do it by doing it themselves, leading by example. If you feel someone does not have the merits to be on your team or you do not take the time to know it because you did not like the way he/she looks or you just do not like his name then you are a terrible leader, you shouldn’t have a team, you must learn to follow before you lead. The attitude of the leader towards oneself is important, he/she needs to be the example of the organization.
For example, a general manager of a hotel manages a big number of staff members within the hotel, she needs to be a role model, be on time to work, always dress according to her position. not coming to work with a hangover, she needs to respect her body during work hours that is respect to her, if employees see the manager arrives late, does not care the way she looks then they won’t care either.
